Upgrading from JBL PB-12 to SVS PB10-ISD

Hi,

well, I decided to upgrade my current sub for something supposedly better.
Matter of fact I got a good offer on my JBL PB-12 (which served me well for almost 4 years), so considering all the bells & whistles I've heard about either SVS / HSU, I've come to a final decision for the SVS PB10-ISD.

I never got the chance to heard it before, but I'm sure it's gonna be an excellent upgrade. My only doubt lies on the woofer's diameter, as the JBL has a 12" drive, whereas the SVS is only 10". Does that mean a big difference in audio performance? I woudn't be suprised that the little 10" SVS just blows away the bigger JBL (just a feeling). My comments are based on reviews and I really believe I just can't go wrong.

Will appreciate any comments on the above.

Cheers / Avliner

My buddy had the JBL PB-12 and I owned the PB-10. The SVS is definitely the better of the two. The PB-10 may be a 10", but it is one heavy duty 10" :)
