Upgrade

I have currently JBL HTI-55 in wall centerchannel, HTI-8 JBL front and right, and JBL venue bookshelfs on the rear. I have an 8" Boston Acoustics XB2 sub..

I was able to sell the set for $400.

I found the Cerwin Vega CVHD-5.1 6 speaker set to replace them, i'm just making sure i did the right thing and got the best speaker upgrade i could (basically 5.1 for 500)

I would call it a lateral move. Probably not worse, but not much better, either.

ok ill clarify.

Up until now i was using a Samsung HT-DS1000 system (Cnet review)

Then i purchsed the JBL in wall speakers for a new setup, but then returned those to purchase the Cerwin Vega set.
