I currently own an RX-V420 65wpc 5.1 receiver. I am considering an upgrade to an HTR-5790. My room doesn't lend itself to a 7.1 setup. I would be using it for the forseeable future in 5.1 mode. The increase in power would be significant but I have efficient Klipsch speakers already and don't know if the extra 45 extra watts are necessary. I have upgraditits but don't know if it is warranted. Have there been enough advancements in processing and setup to make this move worthwhile. Also, I'm willing to consider any Integrated Receiver in this price range $600 - $800. Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
