My system is:
SB3 (squeezebox classic 3)
Parasound P3 preamp
NHT XD active speakers + hissing mod (200$ from
http://www.audioconsultingservices.com )
Now IF I am to spend 1499$ I can replace P3 with wyred4sound DAC2 preamp+DAC.
Then I sell P3 preamp for 500$ so the mod would be 1k$.
I give up a separate Preamp and get a high quality DAC+preamp+remote.
Is this worth 1k$?
The question is - would the preamp in the DAC be better than P3???
Please give me your take...
