"Upgrade" to In-wall speakers

Hello, all. I've gotten a great deal of info on this forum and like to get some pointers on new speakers.

I moved into a new house (with new wife) and my audio setup in the living room must be WAFed. The performance of my current setup makes me happy and looking at an on wall/in wall solution that wouldn't be a downgrade.

Currently have:
DefTech 8060ST, 8040 center, 2x8080 surrounds, SVS-SB-13ultra sub.
Marantz SR-7007 (50-50 HT, music)

The new space is significantly larger as it is an open floor plan living room and kitchen. Approx 36x16x12 with hardwood floors.

My plan is to keep the sub (love it and found a good spot for it) and keep the surrounds (also found a place). I'll replace the front 3 with in wall/on wall as it is in the "path" to the stairs and current floorstanders are a nogo.

In the future, I plan on putting 2-4 in the cieling to (but not worried about that now)

Any recs for front 3 replacements?
Budget right now is $3-5K Looking at:
Martin Logan edge x2 and Axis center

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!

You put "upgrade" in quotes, but there are several reasons why in wall speakers can perform better than freestanding speakers.

No diffraction effects.

Increased bass/midbass from no need for baffle step compensation.

No dip and peak in response from SBIR in the length dimension.
