Upgrade path- need advice

ive recently completed a home theater setup in my basement. It's used probably 80-20 ht to music. Currently I have Denon 1912, polk tsx 330t tower LR front, tsx 150 center, tsx 120 bookshelf surround, old Cambridge Sats for back surround, pb2000 sub. Over time I would like to upgrade the speakers and add a second sub. My room is about 12x22 with a 5ft opening on left wall and another 3 ft opening on left wall, ceiling is about 6 ft 5in.
I'm debating between a second sub right now or a new Denon 4520. Reason for the Denon would be current price, ability to drive most speakers and audyssey suite included. I don't plan on atmos due to low ceilings and would like the receiver to last many years as I will be updating speakers over next several years.
For second sub it would likely be an Svs pc2000 due to size. I'm concerned with being able to integrate both subs without audyssey.
Any advice would be helpful. Please don't suggest upgraded speakers as the budget does not allow for this at the moment. Thanks again

The Denon 4520 is tempting and difficult to beat @ $1K. :D

Personally, I would grab the Denon 4520 since the price on the sub isn't going anywhere. You can always get it some other time.

Normally I would say that is Crazy Talk, buy speakers...LOL but the 4520 is such a solid deal, and if I weren't going to implement ATMOS or DTS:X I would get that in a heartbeat, in fact I did, but haven't opened the box yet because I was going to use it for my bedroom to replace my little Integra 30.5

Yeah, the OP would be going from a Denon 1912 to a Denon 4520. Pretty significant upgrade. :D

Speaker and sub prices, especially from ID, won't be going for 60% discount any time soon. :D
