Update Recommended Systems Buying Guide

Hi there, I know that everyone at Audioholics is probably plenty busy already but I'd like to request that the "Recommended Systems Buying Guide" pages get updated. They were all last updated about a year ago. However, in the last year the AV receiver options have completely change with a bunch of new enticing offerings at lower price points. I'd love to see these buying recommendation pages updated to account for the newest products available, especially seeing as we're at the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.

Unfortunately, it seems the higher ups seem to be utterly ignoring this thread, as I to would like an answer and would love to see an update done to the Buying Guides. All of them. Many changes have happened over the past year (Actually, it's been a little longer than a year since those pages were updated) and it would be nice to see those updates reflected in the systems.

Speakers haven't changed much at all. In general, you take the current version of the recommended AVR and the same speakers. I think a yearly update for an article like that is sufficient.

They have only updated 2 of 6 (And I'm not even counting the other 3 guides besides these) recently, or in reality, kind of recently. The other 4 guides are behind by 3 years except for the 75000 one, which will be behind 3 years when it's December of this year.

I know this section of our site needs much updating. The problem is finding the time and dedicating our editorial staff to it. Sadly, this is one of the highest traffic areas of the site despite the fact we keep neglecting it. I asked Tom Andry to update the $5k and under systems for now. I will work on the ultimate system guide soon...I hope....
