Just wondering.....when running all cables from Satellite, DVD and PVR into the back of my amp (RX-V2600), and output through a single HDMI cable to my Panasonic 50" 50PX500U Plasma, will there be a degredation in signal quality rather than plugging them straight into the back of the plasma.
I know ideally, you would want to plug them straight into the TV, but as I have a wall mount that pulls away from the wall, having just one cable into the plasma would be great.
Basically, with the upconversion, am I going to see a noticeable loss in quality by routing the component signals through the amp and out through HDMI into the TV.
Has anyone else tried this and what did you find?
