Poignant I guess is the word I would use to describe this one. Very interesting character study and its approach is I guess a little different than I have seen before. It is well done, very well acted and though a tad predictable at times, it still managed to keep it on track. I know I think about some of the ideas that are presented in the film while I am on travel. Living in Silicon Valley my whole life, I'd have to say they really did nail the business aspect. The sad thing is, I recognize some of the airports instantly even from small details...

It is a drama, not a comedy and though funny at times, the overall theme is not so light. It forces some self-reflection, as that is mostly what it is about: the main character fires people for a living and as a result, he emotionally detaches himself from everything else to sort of shield himself from the difficult nature of what he does. That's why he is good at it. It moves along a little slow, but it is compelling and I found it very entertaining. Recommended rental.

I watched my rental of this last night. Thumbs up. Challenging, I think. Dialogue was excellent, IMO, and the humorous scenes were really very humorous to me. I thought the acting was of very high quality, and the film itself is unique, IMO. It wasn't very predictable to me, but I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box when it comes to that kind of thing.

"Will you be my co-pilot?" :p

I didn't know that was a body double.

edit: I just wanted to acknowledge rmk, for his personal recommendation to me, regarding this title.
