Unknown speaker connection type

Hi, I recently received some old klipsch heresy speakers that have a connection on the back I’m not sure what to do with. It has two threaded holes and underneath each threaded hole is a threaded bolt sticking out. I’ve been looking around online to see if I can find a name for this kind of connection and the closest I can find is a speaker screw terminal but there is no screw head like I see in pictures.

It looks just like this, except there are no screw heads. Can someone tell me what kind of connections I’ll need to put on the speaker wire?

Thanks!

It looks like there was an option to bi-amp these speakers. I assume there should be nuts on those studs that holds a jumper from the screwed down terminal in place for those who want to feed both the woofer and tweeter (or mid-range / tweeter combo) from the same amplifier.

Undo the screw connectors and remove the spade lug and see if the jumper is removable. Then take another photo.

I’m sorry I should have specified that photo isn’t of my speaker but it’s the closest photo I could find. Mine doesn’t have the screw heads holding the connection. So the connection in that photo above is a spade lug?

The screws are missing. Go to the hardware store and get the correct screws.

They're often called 'terminal strip' or 'barrier strip' and they come in several configurations. Some only have two terminals, but they can also have 3, 4, 6, 8, etc.

IIRC, the screw size you need is 8-32. Don't ask for "eight thirty-second", it means #8 screw, 32 threads per inch. Might be 6-32, but I doubt it.

If you have any screws for light switches, junction boxes, etc- try one. If it fits, take it with you.
