You can check out a recent thread I made in the Newbie section which kind of explains my setup.
In short, it's the first rig I've ever really had much experience with, so as shitty as the speakers may be, it works well for me.
I am currently missing a center channel, but have a gift card to Best Buy (I've never shopped there, we don't have them out in this area). I was checking out their website and they have three different centers by some company called "precision acoustics".
I looked them up on the net and found some website relating to car stereo based out of Quebec. No other site came up, but a few addresses from the UK came up on company profile sites.
A few forums around the net had people asking similar questions to this, some people said the PA speakers are made by JBL, others were naming off other companies and some said they were neither. Some said they sounded fantastic for the price, and few seemed to disagree.
Keep in mind this speaker is probably on par with my other speakers (Quest towers and bookshelves, which actually sound decent to me), I just want to know if anyone knows a bit more about it, or whether or not I'd be setting myself up to be let down (keep in mind, money is an issue).
