Universal remote with Blue Tooth

Is there a universal remote available that can also mimic blue tooth so I can combine it with my PS3?

No, but you have several options, such as the Nyko Blue Wave remote, that comes with a dongle you can use with other universal remotes, it does everything but turn the PS3 on. There is also http://www.ir2bt.com and I believe one other device I can't think of at the moment. I personally use the blu wave with a Logitech Harmony One remote, but it will work with other harmony remotes as well, I also think that is the least expensive solution.

I already have a Sony URC that controls everything. Not perfect but it does the job. Of course it can't control the PS3. Mind you, 2 controls is only 1 step away from the ideal of only the one.

Looking at the IR2BTci details - am I right in saying this device allows an infrared remote control to control the PS3?

Mine is the Sony Remote Commander 1000. If so, problem solved! (And a lot easier than I was expecting).

I also use the Nyko Blue Wave, 19 bucks and it work great. I have to get up to put a movie in so I don't mind that I have to turn it on since I am there anyway.

with the Nyko, you won't use the remote you get with it, you are just buying it for the IR dongle, you program your universal remote to use the commands from the blu wave remote, that is assuming your remote is capable of learning.

This 'Nyko Blue Wave' looks even better! Only $15 on Amazon at the moment.

At 10th of the price surely this is the better option? My URC does have a learning function.

What is the catch???
