Universal Remote For Yamaha RX-V692?

Hi.

I got ahold of a RX-V692 Yamaha receiver, but sans remote. I think it used the Yamaha RAV-110 learning remote. Called Yamaha and they want $100 for it!

So anyway, I was hoping maybe somebody knows of a source to either get a replacement OEM remote for a much lower cost or a Universal Remote that already has a code to work with my receiver.

Either that or a cheaper Yamaha remote meant for a different Yamaha receiver that would control most functions on mine that I might snag off of ebay for cheap.

Normally I would recommend any of the Home Theater Master remotes but if you want a cheap universal just to get going, I would suggest the URC-8811 (One for All) or the URC-8810w (sold at WalMart - identical to the 8811). They are under $20 and should have Yamaha codes built in.

Thanks for the tips MDS. I went to Walmart and did not find the 8811, but I did find a RCA universal that did end up working some of the basic features and that's what I was after until I can perhaps locate the OEM remote on ebay someday.

Felt like such a n00b for having to ask for help on it, but this is my first venture in building full fledge HT system.
