"Walking in your footsteps" (The Police - Synchronicity)

Warpdrv is my new guru, the Anthem man, here at Audioholics, and nobody can take that away from him, and I mean NOBODY.

This is my future direction, and I interdict anyone to object. ;)

It is almost inconceivable to even contemplate another solution. :)
ARC rules, period!

I still think it's being used incorrectly.;)

LOL, not realizing that "interdict" was a word I looked it up. I don't think that word means what you think it means. Interject, while a common word, would have been just fine for the occasion. None the less, I am glad to have learned a new word. I am also very happy to have learned a new word that sounds humorous when spoken.

"INCONCEIVABLE"

"you keep using that word... but I don't think it means what you think it means."

hahahha Yeah, thats what I get for typing when I'm hammered...

I meant basically this is where I have to step in - interject would have been a better word.... :)

I was wondering if you would be in good humor about this, I felt silly for not knowing it was a real word.:D

Ahhhhh Ya... I have no problem standing in front of a mirror and laughing at myself.... I do and say goofy CR@P all the time... :)

I guess I always had it in my mind, that it was drawn from interdiction - to cut off, or stop.... didn't thoroughly connect it to military action or firepower

Webster's definition of Interdict as a verb:

1: to lay under or prohibit by an interdict
2: to forbid in a usually formal or authoritative manner
3 a: to destroy, damage, or cut off (as an enemy line of supply) by firepower to stop :D

I know Paradigmdawg doesn't respect Emotiva all that much, but I still have a lot of faith in Emotiva.

(XMC-1) + 2 (XPA-5) = :):):)

I had thought about going the Emo way, but the timeframe was just too far out there, with the delays they seems to have - its looking like it would be almost christmas before the XMC starts to shine around...

From *The Merriam-Webster Dictionary*

* INTERDICT /verb/: to prohibit by decree.

* INTERJECT /verb/: to throw in between or among other things.

Both words could be used in both Warpdrv and my own post, and they would be good on both counts (meanings).

But, "interdict" is the most radical, severe, authoritative meaning one of the two.
In my own personal post (post #21), that's exactly what I meant.
So, for Seth=L, personal information, it is employed CORRECTLY in my own post, period!

And as for Warpdrv's own original post (post #19), only him knows what he meant.
But, also like Seth=L, I believe that he meant "interject".

I also think Superman is stronger than The Hulk.....
Actually, according to their respective creators...

Superman's power comes from his proximity to our sun. In the proximity of Krypton's sun, he has no powers.

Hulk, however, is literally limitless in power. It increases as his rage increases, and his increases in rage allow his potential for rage to increase. It's a growth that feeds itself.

The DC Vs Marvel series of comics doesn't count, since it was a fan vote that determined the winner. Case in point, Spiderman beat Superboy when Superboy has nearly Superman strength and Spiderman wasn't able to take down Juggernaut, who is arguably less powerful than Superboy since Juggernaut was thrown across the continent by Gladiator. Gladiator could be considered Superman's strength and ability equal...

Ok, I'm just going too far now. :D

So, um, can the UMC-1 output my HDMI sources to the primary HDMI output and a Zone 2 Component Out simultaneously? Cuz if not, XMC-1 it may be, as long as the XMC-1 can output independent sources over multiple HDMIs simultaneously.

From comic book's heroes to Emotiva UMC-1.

^ Hmm... Cool stuff about DC vs Marvel comic books. The power given by the creator (author writer) of these legendary figures, and the way of their origins, plus the use of their super power.
Yep, I think that "Superman" rules them all.

You must be a big comic fan. :)

As for the question concerning the topic of this thread, I don't have a single clue, cuz one is extinguished, and the other one is not even born yet.
But hey, good try... ;)
