Ultrasonically-welded Blue Jeans Cable

my center speaker was having problems, i knew it had to do with the cable (diy loose connections), but never got around to buy some cable with nice terminations.

then i made my mind and buy recommended blue jeans cable, finding on their web page, they were selling ready-to-use terminated cables.

went ahead and bought a pair, could have built it myself, but wanted to have a reference in case i'd end up buying more.

boy, what a difference it has made !!!!!

my center speaker now feels like a subwoofer ... really powerful, crisp sound !

If you wanted to test if it is the cable, you could have simply removed the connectors and gone bare wire....

Loose connections do yield some loss, but not enough that your center now sounds like a sub. Sorry, even from a BIG fan of Bluejeans, you are going a bit overboard.

I like the idea but unfortunately, it looks like they use the same bananas as before also, which means they won't work with the binding posts that are on my speakers.
