U-HDTV has a screen resolution of 7680 x 4320 pixels - approximately sixteen times that of normal HDTV.

For all those who like to sit an inch away from the TV but hate pixels....

That is so spot on - at least with regards to home use...

When stations like the SciFi Channel are shot and broadcast in HD - all the time - then I'll entertain serious talk of production units going ultra-HD...

Great idea for very large screens. Broadcast TV? I seriously doubt it. Bandwidth. Cable has problems with 1080p. FTC going to that rez is highly questionable.
