The FBI reportedly nuked the Russian snake malware after monitoring it for almost 20 years. Perhaps the FBI was feeding the snake garbage all those years?

It is now being reported that the Kinzhal was targeting the Patriot missle system. So far, so good, but the Russians will probably learn from their initial failure and try different tactics.

I would hope that the Patriot missile system has a few more guidance routines waiting for the right time too.

Assuming it's the Patriot system that show them down (like the first one), it's a good testament to the Patriot system in use in actual combat against these types of missiles.

Not something their allies want using the weapons they supplied. One of the conditions for Ukraine to receive the long-range ‘Storm Shadow’ cruise missiles from UK is a promise they'll only be used inside Ukraine's internationally recognized borders (which, of course, includes Crimea).

Apparently, Ukraine has done a number of attacks inside Russia but that is not something they admit publicly.

CNN is reporting that one of the Patriot missile systems was "likely damaged, but not destroyed."

The Russians claim to have shot down several Storm Shadows. It's possible, but I'm skeptical.

Whenever I hear the term Storm Shadow I can't help but think of Storm Shadow from GI Joe:

Yes but going after weapons launchers, especially at the initial firing by them should be allowed as it is a defensive move, not a first strike move.

The concern from some NATO members is an escalation to a wider conflict that includes NATO, especially if NATO weaponry is used inside Russia. Even for use inside Ukraine there has been a significant foot dragging to supply weapons, like moderns tanks and long-range missiles. So far only air planes from the Soviet Union era has been given to Ukraine, and a number of them is not even in the best (i.e. usable) condition.

So here we are, but do recall that more and more advanced weaponry has been given to Ukraine over time, after some procrastination.
