Two Rythmik F12s or 1 Rythmik E15?

Trying to decide on 2 of the F12 models or 1 of the E15 models. Both seem like great subs. 3000 cu ft open floor plan room. Which do you think would do the trick better? Note that FV15 is not an option due to size.

If I had to choose between two F12s and a F15, I'll go with two F12s. But I would rather have two F15s!

Am I looking at this wrong?...

2 F12's = $1600ish
1 E15 = $1200ish

I don't know much about Rythmik, but it says both go down to 14hz (-2db/-3db @ 14hz), but I'm sure the spl is what's vastly different. Once you figure out how much difference there is then it'll be an easier decision I'd think. 2 subs won't give you any more extension but they'll give you more spl within the given frequency response...and possibly/likely a smoother frequency response.

I'd expect a pair of non-colocated F12s can roughly equal the output of the E15 with the added benefit of smoothing the in room response a bit. On the other hand, the upgrade path from a single E15 seems a lot clearer and easier, i.e. a second E15. Do you know what kind of response you're getting at your listening position(s) now with the single PC12-NSD?

My response is pretty flat at my listening position. I've never measured it, but I have used Audyssey and I tried multiple positions for the sub in the room. I think I may go with a single sub for now because the room is a living room and not a home theater. That will limit my placement options a bit and so I may not have the best spots to put a second sub.

As for the response difference, at 20hz, Rythmik suggests that the E15 is +3.5dB compared to the F12.

PS: I'm assuming the bigger SVS cylinders are out due to their aesthetics?
