"The Watch" - A neighborhood watch group consisting basially of Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill tangle with some really creepy aliens. Yeah, it sounds tacky. It kinda is, but it works as a buddy flick with a ton of laughs thrown in. Definitely worth the time, and it's available via Netflix.

"Premium Rush" - Joseph Gorden-Levitt as a NYC bike runner being chased by bad cop Michael Shannon. Better than I would have delieved and Shannon may be one of the creepiest and scariest of the new batch of actors to hit the market. He makes General Zod look like a lightweight here.

Hoccum I never heard about these when they were initially released?

I'll have to check them out, but ctv has delivered most of the good new tv shows. It stands to reason they'd deliver some great movies.

Shannon can really be intense or tense. He's really excellent in Take Shelter. It's not a scary move as such, but as a guy who has an intuition of a looming tornado, his obsession gets really messy and entangles everybody around him. Shannon's portrayal is creepy because he's just so convincing in his belief that something awful will happen.
