Hi. I'm looking at getting this samsung lcd tv for my HT setup. I am looking for 46 inch tv's and was curious if you guys prefer this one or plasmas?

I was going to get an LED for power consumption and inky blacks but for the same price point I could step to a 3d capable display.

It really looks like a lovely tv,just my thought.

Also I know this is a tv forum but I am seriously eyeing an onkyo 608 audio reciever now, it has 3d pass through, would that be fine?

the onkyo 608 is here, for reference.

Plasma over LCD every time.

No motion blur, better off-axis viewing, better black levels, no input lag, so on and so forth.

That may be a fine TV, but unless you can't live without 3D or your room is VERY bright, I'd go for a Panasonic V-series plasma. If you can find one, the 50" should be right around that price range. If not, a G-series would save you a bit of coin and offer excellent performance as well.
