Just built an "entertainment center" cause i ran out of space in my bookcase. I used the flexy design for the side racks, but i cut them on angles so it's easy to reach behind and switch cables or whatever. Shelves are adjustable. The legs on the TV section are cedar and there is a cross brace under the middle shelf.

Eventually i'll glue some PVC sections on the back for wire management.

Though i'd post in case anyone needed ideas.

BTW: Most of my equip is at school so unfortunately i cant also show that off.

Thanks workerbee. forgot to say that the shelves are 3/4" MDF. i originally wanted to use smaller legs, but the stand is too tall and the TV too heavy...it wobbled a bit.

Oh no dude, even if the legs were a lot heavier it would still look good. I've seen some very nice modern entertainment furniture with heavy legs but it still had a very sleek look and strength IS the important factor. You would be suprised how many cabinets are made from MDF/particleboard...not just the cheap one's anymore. Just sort of angling it like you did makes it stand out from the ordinary, as most factory jobs are straight and parallel with the wall. You should find in the future integrating that piece in a new space will be easier...will fit well across a corner or serve as an end piece in a row of stuff. I'm glad to see someone make their own, that is something most people would not attempt.
