Turtle Beach x12 vs. Philips Fidelio Over Ear

Currently I'm using Turtle Beach x12s for my PC, but I'm not sure whether I should use the Philips Fidelios I have instead.

Obviously the Fidelios cost more, but I don't really see the difference between them in specifications. (The x12s even have larger speakers)

I'm doing pretty much everything - from listening to music to gaming.

I'm failing to understand why you would ask this of anyone else. If you have both of them, use whichever ones you like best.

Because I'd like to know which ones are objectively better. They're both at the same level of comfortableness and the Fidelios aren't with me atm - haven't been able to test them out yet and I won't be able to for a day or two.

In the world of audio it's nice to have objective measurements to help you make sight unseen decisions, but in the end the only thing that matters is your enjoyment. Even if one of the two were objectively better, if you liked the others best those are the ones you should use.

So which one is objectively better?

Also, should I be getting an amp with the L1/00s? The x12s come with one built in.

If so, any suggestions?

PS: The L1/00s seem to have a really short cord. If I wanted to extend the audio in and audio out cords by about 5 ft (since the L1/00 does have a microphone but the cord is also short for it), what would I get? Not sure what the name of either are. Thanks in advance for the help.

Budget of $100 for the amp and cords btw.

I doubt there are any useful measurements that have been done of either of those headphones, so there is no one that can tell you which are objectively better.

For amps and cords I don't really have any advice.

Just got the L1/00s, they definitely sound better overall. Anyone have suggestions for an amp?
