Tuner Separates - Cheap but good value

Hi,

I'm interested in getting a tuner to plug into my cambridge audio A1, but apart from how much I'm willing to spend (preferably less than £50/$70), I'm pretty stumped as to how to get my moneys-worth.

In terms of preferences, I'd be interested in FM/AM, not so fussed about DAB (I'm guessing I won't be able to afford anything to make that jump worthwhile), and pretty much just want something that'll play good radio, and be good value for money.

I don't suppose you guys would be able to give me any pointers?

Thanks!

I have the Sony XDRF1HD, which can be had new for less than $100 USD. It tunes AM, FM and HD radio and does quite a good job based on my experience with it and the reviews I've read. I basically just wanted a cheap tuner that could get FM at the very least but over the summer there was a $50 rebate out on all HD radio tuners and I discovered this tuner and thought that for $50 after rebate it sounded like a good deal. It was.

That is the radio I was going to suggest but lost the link; here is a link to a test of this super puppy.
That is a great tuner, a super tuner in fact:D
