Hello audiophile friends. Last night I re-arranged my room a bit in attempt for better sound. In particular, I moved my bed length wise against the wall instead of having it in the middle of my room. I also covered my windows with a thick blanket. Then I re-measured my room and used Cardas Audio speaker placement method with a little toe-in and a perfect triangle at the listening position. I also moved my sub around a bit, set my high pass filter and sub to mach, and set a nice volume level that made the sub "disappear".

After all was said and done, my immediate impression was a way better, wider soundstage with awesome treble. Bass was smoother, deeper, and you felt more "rumble" but again the sub had disappeard. One complaint of mine is my PDR-10 sub sounds a bit sloppy. Ive experimented with more sub locations with little to no success. The system overall is more enjoyable and "intimate" after a simple furniture move and re-measuring the symmetry of things. I highly recommend it.

Gotta go for now....

I used a Paradigm PDR-8 for a bit and did not like it. It provided good output (for an 8 inch) but I found espeically with music it was very sloppy and boomy.

Am I the only one having trouble with this sentence?
What I mean is the bass tones were heard and felt but it didnt sound like it was coming from the sub, but they blended with the fronts. Thats what I mean by disappeared...
