Tube Amps On Top of Speakers?

I have two rather large speakers that are constructed of typical MDF with wood veneer. I am wanting to drive each speaker with a tube amp (currently looking at some Primalunas). The speakers are large and flat on top and I usually don't drive them too loud. My question is this... can I rest each speaker's amp on top of the speaker itself? Or will even minimal vibration cause problems within the tubes? Is there any way to rest the amps atop each speaker or is this a cardinal sin when using tube amps?
Thanks!

I NEVER put stuff on top of speakers or subs, not solid state or tube.. Wouldn't they look so much better on a set of stands? to answer your question, I doubt it will cause much trouble, My father has a set of old tube amps 6"s from a set of 15" subwoofers for years now, and the vibration hasn't hurt them yet.... Tubes are either breaking in or breaking down, so chances are you will be changing them before the vibration gets a chance to do any damage...

I am not crazy about Primaluna, have you looked into the carvers that emo is making in house now?
