Trying to Timbre match from existing center channel

I recently acquired an old Polk Audio CS245 center channel. It is not the CS245i.. I am looking for matching speakers. From what I read the RS series were the best match but my chances of finding those seem pretty small... would any Polk audio speaker be okay? Is there that much difference in the sound if I were to pick up some of the Monitor series speakers or the TSi series?

Does it have a silk dome tweeter? Most of their mid priced speakers have a similar enough sound that it will probably work with Monitors or TSis. If you are picky, you will want to eventually sell that one off and replace it with one that matches your mains, but it will likely work for now.

I'm not sure if it does or not. It has the Dynamic Range tweeter. I'm not really that picky but the other 4 speakers I am using for front and surround are miss matched.

TSis or Monitors will probably be fine with that guy. All of their tweeters except the LSi line use Dynamic Blanance technlogy, but they changed the design in the last few years. I still think the ones you mentioned will blend well enough to get by. I believe the TSi line replaced the Monitor line.
