Trump Wants a Sick population. The Latest Trump Outrage

Seriously, I have no life.
It has only been TWO WEEKS and the economy is already showing signs of going in the wrong direction. I don't think it will take a year before people turn on this clown car.

Amazingly, Trump DID admit things might cost more...quietly, so as not to disturb those who are going to be directly impacted by his ill advised choices.

Musk's next investment will be in chicken farms.
And $300 million contract for armored cyber trucks for state department. What, do they have armored cars and trucks now?

I'd have thought with RFK they'd at least reign him in by not giving him air time. Instead he's on Fox.

What I was trying to get at is yeah it wasn't a good idea to hire him, but now that he's in the seat don't give him air time to spout this stuff.

Doctors push back as parents embrace Kennedy and vitamin A in Texas measles outbreak | Reuters

One mother, she said, told her she was giving her two children high doses of vitamin A to ward off measles, based on an article posted by Children's Health Defense, the anti-vaccine group led by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. nearly a decade before he became President Donald Trump's top health official.
The supplement does not prevent measles and can be harmful to children in large or prolonged doses, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics. It has been shown to decrease the severity of measles infections in developing countries among patients who are malnourished and vitamin A deficient, a rare occurrence in the United States.
We're having outbreaks here in Canada, as well.

I received the MMR vaccine in 1982 when I was in basic training, as part of a battery of vaccinations. I don't recall any of my fellow recruits even questioning any of these shots. How times have changed.

Sorry, TDAP is what I got, not MMR. You need that every 10 years and was recommended by my doctor to travel to India and Taiwan.

For measles, it is already it is worse than that:

It is already at 285 cases across Texas and New Mexico.
That TDAP vaccine is mainly for tetanus. Diphteria and pertussis are rather rare nowadays.

It's rather easy to forget when we had our last dose of tetanus shot though. I had one about 3 years ago following a light head injury fall at home. I should take note to get a next shot around 2032. Unfortunately, the medical people don't stress enough that necessity for recall shots.

Yeah, but they advised it for travelling to India, which much of it is basically 3rd world (it is pretty nuts there outside of big cities). Diphtheria being the main one. Not like I am going to eat street food there or something lol. A lot of my team members are there, and they ALL advised, eat only where we take you or in your hotel.

Several years ago, a cousin of my ex-wife underwent hip surgeries in India. The situation in Quebec with the lousy health system would have had him waiting an additional 6 months and he was in pain. It's not known whether he had vaccine shots before going but he didn't come back alive.
