Troubleshooting Amp & Pre-Amp/Tuner Issues

<font color='#000000'>This is specifically for techs, owners of early model Adcom Amps and Pre-Amp/Tuners, or owners of amps with similar problems.

Pre-Amp/Tuner: &nbsp;Will only hold an FM station for under 1 minute before complete blank. &nbsp;May reset upon complete system shutdown. &nbsp;Frustrating. &nbsp;Had it repaired a few years ago, barely used the amp (can count on one hand the number of times unit used). &nbsp;Worked fine those few times then problem returned. &nbsp;Cost an arm and a leg to repair the last time and don't want to repeat the loss of $.

AMP: &nbsp;Now this unit (used with the above-mentioned
P-A/Tuner) has a R channel totally clipped. &nbsp;Unit had both channels out upon purchase (purchased used). &nbsp;Both were repaired along with the P-A/Tuner a few years ago. &nbsp; Both units experienced the problems approximately the same time.
