I'm wondering if the TCC TC-750 Audiophile Phono Preamp is what I need to solve an issue I have with my system. My turntable is a Denon DP 60L with an AT 155LC/G dual magnet cartridge connecting into a Marantz PM8004 integrated amp. I have 2 sound processors, an ADC graphic equalizer and a Dbx impact restoration/range expander; all components are going through a route selector (with the exception of the phono). Also a CD player and Ipod are connected to the route selector.
Problem/issue
I can adjust the playback (from the processors) for the CD and Ipod but cannot from the phono. The turntable playback can be heard, but the sound is not being processed, I can see the signal is going through the two processors but I cannot alter the sound using the processors controls. Do you think the TCC TC-750 Audiophile Phono Preamp will solve the problem? I’ve had this system many years and the only change I’ve recently made was changing out the receiver (Marantz SR9000G) to the current Marantz PM8003. That’s when this issue started.
Thanks for any assistance,
Ed
