Hello folks,

Just thought I'd give a huge recommendation for the soundtrack to Tron: Legacy by Daft Punk, ideally the Special Edition (2xCD) DigiPak. I absolutely love this album!

Anyone else got it? Thoughts?

Not bad, but for me its the tracks with strings that really get me going. Many are too close to call, but probably my favourite overall is Recognizer:

I consider these sublime too (Disc Wars & Encom Part II):

When I saw this in IMAX it changed my life. I couldn't stop boppin my head to the electronic beats! Can't wait for this to hit Blu-ray!

Glad to see I am not the only person who instantly downloaded the soundtrack to Tron. Derezzed changed my life!

Doesn't really sound like anything new, not even for Daft Punk. I listen to a lot of techno.

Took my son to see this and he hummed the tunes constantly until I bought the soundtrack. Highly recommended!

I got around to ripping the soundtrack today and listened to it all...it's enjoyable, but nothing special. The songs are basically fragments of what could be better. Not bad though.

I am definitely going to second your recommendation for the soundtrack! My father had me watch Tron when I was younger and since then I have already loved it so when the previews started coming out for Legacy I was like a kid at Christmas! I first noticed some of the awesome music during the movie but buying the soundtrack separately from iTunes really made me appreciate the music and the film even more! GO TRON!

It's quite good, but the musical themes feel like they got cut short and weren't given enough time to develop.

The music is incredible but I still like the first movie better...

I agree, I like most of the songs but also feel that they cut them short.
