TriTrix TL Speaker Build

Hello, I was planning on building a pair of the TriTrix MTM TL speakers, however, seeing as the components won't be in stock until June I am looking for an alternative. The DC 130BS is going to be in stock soon, however, the DC28FS tweeters are not going to be in stock for a while. Would it be possible to use the DC28FT instead with an altered crossover? I attempted to design my own in Vituix but I have no experience designing a crossover. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
