Tripp Lite IsoBar question

I'm working on a new HT setup that has the components spread out rather than stacked on top of each other. Therefore, I can't use one surge protector for all of the components. I was planning on using a series of Tripp Lite Isobars for the all of the components. My question is this: Is there really any benefit in running the coax from my digital cable box through the surge protector before connecting it to the TV? I'm wondering if it's worth the extra money to have the coax filter on the IsoBar. I can get by with a couple of 4-outlet IsoBars, but they also make one with 6 outlets and coax protection. I was just curious if it makes sense to go up to the 6 outlet protector for the coax support or just save my money. Thanks.

How far are the components? They do have a long cord on them ;)

If you have power surges or lightning there, you may want to consider routing the tv cable through that too.

It's always good to run your cable through a surge protector. It doesn't take much of a surge to cook your cable box, which can in turn cook your other components. If you're going to install surge protection, make sure you cover every inlet of electricity into your system.
