Trip to Rex....

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but here goes...

I went to Rex yesterday and asked if they had RCA pressure connects for RG-6. Well the guy asked me if I wanted to go from cable to rca...I said "No, I want to put an rca plug on the end of the cable..."...He continued to tell me I'd need an RF modulator or else my cable wouldn't work...So note to self and everyone else...Don't go to the Rex in Pensacola expecting to get diy parts...

I had to buy an AVR from REX once. The salesman was completely ignorant of AVRs, and was suggesting systems based on how the speakers looked (This one has 5 3" drivers!). Since I didn't need speakers he was fairly useless and I had to pull every unit off the shelf to check the connectors on the back of every unit.

Good thing I wasn't in a hurry.
