Hello everyone! As said in the title, I'm a complete noob when it comes to home audio. I'm looking to get some decent bookshelf speakers mostly for music for my bedroom. The Klipsch B-20's are my top choice right now, they have really good reviews and I found them on sale locally for half their normal price :D.

All I need to know is, what kind of receiver will I need for these? I want to play music on my computer through them. What other parts/cables will I need to make this happen? I'm looking for the cheapest possible solution, is it possible to get a receiver in the ~$100 price range that will work?

Thanks for any help!

Edit: I just read that I can use a small 2-channel amplifier instead of a receiver. Is this true/viable? Would this: http://www.amazon.com/Lanzar-HTG237-000-Watt-2-Channel-Amplifier/dp/B0032F126G work? It's very inexpensive, which I like.

AV receivers start at around $200. Both Yamaha and Pioneer have good ones at that price.

you could easily find excellent used avr for $100 or less. Klipsch would be very loud even with 25wpc amp, but many find their sound too bright.
Andrew Jones designed, Pioneer BS22 has better balanced sound and selling on amazon now only for $99/pair - can't beat that

Thanks for the help guys. So do you think those BS-22's will be better than the B-20's? I really like volume, so is one definitively louder than the other while not sacrificing quality? If they are close enough together, I'll just take your word and go with the BS-22's, I like their price point as well :).

So could I just go with the BS-22's alongside the amp that jp_over suggested and be good to go? Any other considerations?
