IM just wondering. Is there any way to damage a fibre optic (toslink) cable. When i was moving the head of the cable smashed on some furniture. Ive been experiencing some sound skipping with my xbox (movies and games a little).it might be the xbox. The lens looks good. Anyone know ?

define skipping. My brothers dvd player has a qlitch with DD tracks, but it happens on optical and coax. I don't know how they construct those cables, but smashing can't be good.

LOL. i know smashing is not good. But it wasnt an ugly damage smash
just a loud noise lol. Well it looks fine but at the same time i sure hope its not my xbox 360.

One way to troubleshoot: Take a video cable and use the digital coax outlet if there is one and see if there is the same amount of skipping on the different mediums.
