I find it interesting that a major BR manufacturer has gone nuetral.. indicating they do not think BR has won much of anything...
I find it interesting that the Samsung HD DVD/Blu-ray player announced is badged as a Samsung when the company producing it is a joint venture between Toshiba and Samsung with Toshiba owning 51% of the company.
When it comes to a court case about that 'Samsung' hybrid player, it will be Toshiba who will have more liability. It would be like the most major player in Blu-ray partnering with a HD DVD manufacturer... if there were one besides Toshiba... putting up 51% ownership, then putting the other companies name on the player.
The telling sign is that Toshiba is ready to produce Blu-ray at a moments notice and they are gearing up for it.
