i have a Behringer ep2500 and 2 cerwin vega 15's and was wondering if i got 2 more 15's how i would be able to run 1 set on one chanel and one set on another channel but make each channel stereo buy using the speakon outputs because each of the outputs is a stereo channel ? the reason i need another 2 set of 15's is because my amp is just too powerful for them speakers

.....Bassaholic, paralleling two 8 ohm speakers on a channel of that amp will bring the potential of 650 4 ohm watts delivered 20-20K, 750 measured at 1K, and the first measurement is more real-life....I say go for it with two more Cerwin Vega 15's....and, I don't think "any" amp is too powerful for "any" speaker considering you have total control of the gain knob....it's like BBQ sauces, anybody can stand over a pot of BBQ sauce and dump in 10 pounds of ground cayenne pepper, just like anybody can twist a volume knob until speakers blow up....Bassaholic, let me ask you this....does the cooling fan on that particular Behringer amp ever bother you at moderate levels?....it shouldn't considering it's on the back, but I would like a first-hand report.......

Considering the spl of CV's, you may have overdone it on the amp. How big is your room?

Why not just turning it down?

no the fan has never botherd me at even low levels because the music overpowers it but as to everyone else saying that i can jus turn it down i know that i can but there is so much power left in the knob and i just want to use it i cant even turn it up half way without blowing a fuse i just want it so that i can use all the power that i have

Yes folks, bassaholic is a basshead. :)

A extra set of 15's would work. As well as calling an electrician to get a 20-30 amp dedicated outlet to plug your amp into. That way you can turn your amp all the way up without popping the breaker/fuse.

So you want to be able to turn the volume knob higher than halfway before blowing a fuse? What's the difference? Even if you do add more speakers and can now turn the knob to 3/4 before blowing a fuse, what have you gained?

If you have so much power that you blow fuses, the system must be capable of incredible SPL. I'd be more concerned with blowing an eardrum than a fuse.

No, just want him to enjoy his audio when he gets old/er:D
And, perhaps prevent a few trips from the police enforcing the dB community standards:D
