too much in the daisy chain?

I am running cable tv to my monster power conditioner, to my comcast DVR to my receiver and then to the tv.

It starts out as the stock coax and then from the DVR to component video cables to component out to the tv.

Will there be a signal quality issue?

Should I just run digital coax audio to the rcvr and have the tv go straight from the dvr?

YES. Unless you need the receiver to do the switching, there isn't really a compelling reason to have video go through the receiver.
