Ok it's me again lol. Here is what I'm thinking about for now just a 3.1 setup to start out with, I wanna go to a 5.1.2. Some Elac d6.2 L/R, the Elac c6.2 center, and Svs 10" pb1000. Denon x3400, x1500h, or the s940h(to cut the price down some). I wanna get some surrounds but I'm still trying to figure that out. How do y'all feel about the 3 AVR's and my speaker pick(trying to keep the budget low)?

I had the x3400 briefly before upgrading to an x4400 and it was a dang good receiver. Great sound and lots of useful features. Cannot comment on the others, but in my research the 3400 can't really be beat for its current price.

Definitely the x3400h if you can still get one for $599 with full warranty. That thing is capable of sound quality as good as my $4000 2ch preamp/amp separates.

I have Yamaha but at that price point the Denon 3400 is a great choice. It has preouts so you can always add an amp to it later if you want.

Do you have any knowledge about the Elac's?

I know the B6.2 has a 6.5 woofer so you can probably get to the 80hz crossover point with ease. The 5.25 woofer would need a 90hz crossover probably which means you would probably need dual subs if you did the B5.2. I haven’t heard them but they get some positive reviews.

Another option is Canton at Accessories for Less. The 6inch chrono speakers and chrono center might be a good choice. I have the Vento more expensive version with a different cabinet and tweeter but the chrono is one that may be a good choice for you to consider. The Cantons are on an extra 10% off when you add to cart.

Good luck! :)
