I have to sign & date a significant amount of paper work in a given day, so today it was slightly quicker being able to put five 1's in a row for the date. Nov 1st will be equally speedy, but Nov 11th will take 20% longer I predict with that extra 1 in there...

Birthday on new years is goofy. We have a friend who's b-day is Dec. 31. Too close to Xmas and you are already going to party, so kind of gets washed out. Meh.
