Toa amplifiers are generally used in studios, restraunts, and some audio for intercom systems. yes they could be nice for home audio if you have 2 of them because... there mono.
so you also need a splitter. Me, i noticed something about 900 series toa amplifiers. they are more watts then they say they are. i have a toa a-912mk2 amp. rated @ 120w at 4-8 ohms.
peak power: 560 watt. when really its not.... i used this 120 watt toa amp with a 1350 watt subwoofer at 4 ohms and the 120 watt toa amp fried it at 85% of power. so PLEASE be careful
what you plug in to that amp because who knows how much power the 240w version has... so i dont think these types of amps are measured in watts. actually it matters how much amps it has and the current one i have has 20 amps, thats equalivalent to about 2500 watts.... that reason being is because toa amps in general are made for over 30 speakers to be plugged in to the 70v channel if measure 2500/30 its pretty accurate to 85+ wattage, or lower amounts of wattage. Hope this helps
