<gulp> I'm selling my pretty much mint Adcom GFA 555II 200x2 Amp. This was my first real piece of gear... along with my Onkyo 70Pro and my BIC Venturis. The amp was hardly used because not long after I purchased it, I got the Sunfire amp I still use today. I always kept the Adcom because I thought I'd go 7 channel some day. Between my Sunfire and the amp section in my Pio, I just don't need it. There's no reason for me to get rid of it other than the fact that I just don't see it ever getting use any time soon and I'd rather it go to some who could use a great amp. I think it'd be great for some with a 5 channel amp who'd like to go to 7 channels or for a 2 channel setup.

I'm asking $400 for the Amp, no clue for the receiver (though I know it's not worth much) and any decent offers on the BICs which still sound pretty good. I have the bookshelf surrounds and the center channel.

Oh... and I also found an Alpine amp that I had in my car for all of about 2 months. My car got broken into years back and they stole everything but couldn't find the amps which were hidden under the seats.

I used to have that same alpine amp back in the day... their amps have gotten much better since then.

Back in the day there wasn't a lot to choose from... Rockford was just becoming a hit, and I guess there was SoundStream, but for high end... it was always Alpine for me. There was just someting more sophisticated about their amps... at least looks-wise. I had the original RF Punch amps that had the tone control knobs right on the amp. They did usher in a new era of sheer balls power.

Remember PPI (Precision Power Inc) and Xtant.

What would you want for that alpine? It’d be nice to use on the workbench at home to test some things on occasionally.

$25? *shrugs*

Paypal is ready. :D
