I was given a Mitsubishi Model #VS45VA2 TV the other day and i figured it would be great for my bedroom. It seems to work great except for the fact that the red is off on the right side. I accidently messed with the settings on the blue (which shouldnt be too hard to get back) but is there any advice to get the red back into place?

Man that red is WAY out on the right edge - not too bad on the left and pretty good in the lower center - I hope you're able to bring the right back in. It may be a bit easier to tweak it if you have a fullscreen white on black crosshatch image to adjust - but lacking that you could put on a DVD and freeze it on the credits where you have white text on a black background preferably all across the width of the screen. Then it's going to take a lot of tweaking (and patience;)) to get your red and blue pulled into alignment with your green - just try to be systematic and work on the size (lin & w) first - and it looks like your keystone is way off on the red (lower right keystone pot). If you can cover the blue tube while adjusting the red it may be less of a distraction and vice versa. Good luck - the old manual adjustment sets can be a real beyotch to bring back in.

If you cannot bring all of the colors into alignment then you most likely have a convergence board problem. It is the most common problem on RP CRT sets regardless of brand. The board that controls the convergence goes bad. It's usually the ICs.
