Time to replace my B 'n K.

I've had a pretty good look around these forums for a while now and it seems there's a lot of good advice, and good ear's on here.

First I'll tell you all what I have:
B 'n K AVR 202
Mirage OM-7 Fronts
Mirage OM-C Center
Mirage OM Rears
Mirage BPS-400 sub
Arcam Alpha 9 CD
Sony BDP-S350 Blu-Ray
Panasonic Plasma 1080p

With the new technology in Blu-Ray disks my B 'n K just doesn't cut it for surround anymore and it's time to replace it. I do listen to a lot of 2ch music so the amp section is important. I've listened to Yamaha, Denon and the like and their amp's just don't do it for me as far as music is concerned.

I need a solution, either another AVR or separates. I've read all I can find about Outlaw Audio and Emotiva, but reading and listening are two very different things as you all know.

What can be found for between $2000 and $3000 with a high quality amp section that will give the best of both worlds, music and video?

I'd probably go with an EMO UMC-1 and MPS-2 in that price range. Outlaw Audio and Rotel are good picks too. I believe EMO, Outlaw, and Rotel all have new units supporting TrueHD, DTS-HD, etc. out or due shortly.
