Tidal network issues

At home on cell service (verizon) or wifi (att fiber) I never have a problem. In both cars; 24 kia sportage w/UVO, 22 ram laramie w/Uconnect, I get the network issue almost every other song depending on where im driving, if I turn on and off airplane mode (phone is a s24 ultra) it will start playing again. Ive reinstalled the app, cleared data, cache, and nothing fixes the issue. I get a different error code but those codes just give a network issue. Im about to drop tidal and go with another service. Anything I may be overlooking or is tidal unfortunately garbage?

From what I can suss out, Tidal does not work well on the move, with lots of reports like you are experiencing with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Spotify does not seem to fare much better. Tidal has gone broke once already and is red ink for the new owners. I guess Spotify is marginal also in terms of profitability.

Spotify works (flawless, really) for me via BT, as long as I have my phone in DND mode. I just set it to that because it would infuriate me if it was a spam call or text that disrupted a good song. Since I leave my phone in DND mode all of the time, now, even the spammers have all but given up on me.

ETA: I listen to music while sleeping. Amazon was dropping me every night so I quit them. I use WIFI at home and BT in the car or at work. I listen for 8 hrs continuously at work, and upwards of 12 hrs at home. I could not tolerate a source that was not reliable. Also had good luck with Pandora.
