I don't have any experience with what you're talking about but have you tried using something sticky, like tape or a lint remover, to remove the tissue paper?

Define speaker net. Do you mean a cloth grill, or a plastic or metal waffle type speaker cover? If it's a cloth grill, try a vacuum hose with a brush attachment. If it's a waffle type grill, use a hair brush, then vacuum it off. A wet/dry vac works better. Better suction. Sometimes using the other end of the wet/dry vac to blow the inside clean also works.

......Sabedra, every now-and-then I take my grill covers off and run about 6-8 inches of warm water in the tub....I let them sit in the water submerged about a minute and slowly raise them up and down a little to agitate water through the cloth to send dust to the bottom of the tub....then I hold them up to drain letting the water flow to one low corner....when a small stream goes to a drip, I hold the low corner with a towel and head outside to let them dry in the "shade"....except in pollin season, and then they dry inside, haha....as to your problem of remnents of a paper product embedded in the grill cloth....I would try GENTLY rubbing the spots with a soft bristled hairbrush underwater after the one minute soaking....then agitate water through the grill cloth as referred above and see if a second attempt with the hair brush will be needed....in the shade to not let the sun fade what is possibly and probably black grill cloth....your grill cloth assembly is fabric and wood probably....doesn't hurt them at all to get VERY wet for a short period....

.....ok, we'll soften up a bit even though grill cloth is not quite as porous as we think....Sabedra, after the minute soaking, pat the spots underwater to concentrate water being surged through the cloth....hmmm, yes, with them face down in the water with the paper remnants against the bottom of the tub....then flip them over and submerge again....you can now see any remnants left....if you see any, gently rub them with the tips of your fingernails and if that don't work, it's to the dry cleaners, haha....

I would be very careful about getting speaker grills wet ... especially soaking wet. If they are made from MDF or some other composite wood product, you may find you need to buy larger sized speakers to fit your new enlarged grills. :(

use vacuum hose w/ dusting attachment

looks like a little brush... agitates the dust, vacuum sucks it up.
