This is my final set-up, a Thumb's up or down would help. Thank you

When I first started this road to a decent set-up for Audio and Video I did not think I would make so many changes along the way.
From the forums that gave me info to look for and listen for in the products, and all of the suggestions from the people on the forums helped out a lot as well.
I have went from the set-up of a
1. NAD T773 A/V Receiver. To find out that NAD has some issues I would like to avoid in the end.
2. Paradigm Monitor Series Monitor 5. Then I have seen that if I waited I could get the Monitor 11’s for a little extra cash.
3. Paradigm Monitor Series CC-370 Center Channel. I have nothing against this at all.
4. Paradigm PW-2100 Powered Sub-Woofer. And again I have nothing against this at all.

So now I read all the issues with NAD and decide to go from Monitor 5’s to Monitor 11’s So I now have upgraded a bit more, and this set-up is final.

1. Arcam DiVA AVR300 Receiver. It is a really nice Receiver, and It is what I have ended up with in the end.
2. Paradigm Studio 100 Reference Loudspeakers. Well it was again a little bit more of money and a better speaker than the Monitor 11’s.
3. Paradigm Studio Reference CC-570 Center Channel Loudspeaker. I had to step up the Center from the CC-370 to match the new front speakers.
4. Paradigm PW-2200 Powered Sub-Woofer. For the fact that the PW-2100 could not keep up with the new front speakers.

Now this is the set-up I’m happy with, and can enjoy for along time.
I have to thank the people on the forums that have helped me out with links and info on certain items.

And If in anyway can you give me a thumbs up or down on my first set-up that would help again.

Thank you

What a load of nice equipment..I listen to stereo {2 channel} everyday and watch movies on the weekend with my Denon player, reciever svs sub and two studio 40's with my 27" Sony. It has a great picture and it sounds pretty darn good :) .
Looks as though you may be happy for quite a while with all your upgrades, and you probably learned a lot along the way....Enjoy :D

Looking good! I give you about four months until you get the itch again! :D

zumbo, with the ARCAM AVR300 and Studio 100 reference, I would give me a lot more than four months.

Do you have a fever? Does your hand feel the need to scratch an itch behind your wallet? Do you no longer tell the wife about your secret stash of money?

All the signs of upgrade-itis.

It is a dreaded disease that strikes the young and old equally without warning.

The only solution for the disease is buying more DVD's, or better yet, rearranging the room for the 19th time to achieve the perfect sound from your "terrible equipment".

Seriously, GOOD STUFF. :D

Hope you avoid the disease.

The first thing I noticed about your post is what you started out with and what you ended up buying. :) Remininds me of me. I think I started out with looking at a Polks at Circuit City and now I have Studio 100's, 570 and 470's :D

Needless to say, awesome setup! You'll love it.

Great speakers..........don't own them(yet) but have heard them. If & when I get rid of my Axioms that may be where I go next..........

Nice!

Serious system dude!

That's more than a little upgrade from your original decision...like three times more!

That system will do until you win the lottery, or got forbid listen to the Seismic 12 or Servo 15 subs.

I'm guessing you're not married! :)
