My mom got me a CC-370 for X-mas(she made me go with her to purchase it so she knew she got me the correct speaker...) but now she took it home and wrapped it up. Gonna be a long couple of weeks... lol

It's been a long time coming. I've had Monitor 11's for about a year now and will finally have the missing link. I hope it sounds as good as I think it will.

Do you have surrounds? I just got monitor 7's and cc370, and they are great, the 370 adds alot to movies. I am using titans as surrounds and love the setup. Only 16 days left to wait, i am sure you can hold out.

I've got a decent set of Polk surrounds but will be replacing them with Paradigms when my budget permits. I haven't decided which model I'll use though.

The CC-370 is also replacing a Polk Center Channel.

16 days? Gonna be hard...

Yes, i remember that emotion. I wish i could feel it right now. When i was younger i used to watch all the presents below the tree on the floor and the fact that i couldn't touch them was driving me crazy; and then i also remember the happiness that i felt when i finally opened the presents.
I wish that a Yamaha YST-SW1500 was under my tree right now even if i couldn't open it.

When I was 10, I unwrapped the present, removed the present, and rewrapped the package and hid it back under the tree.

Yes, HONESTLY

My plan was to return the present to the empty box just in time to unwrap it (again) on Christmas morning.

Got caught.... something to do with a noticeably empty box being found when the presents were being rearranged under the tree.



Just wondering... what would happen if you tried the same trick?

I tricked my g-friend into telling me she got me my second Canton Sub for X-mas. It was the last one in the store. it says sold on it, its fully paid for but they wont let me leave the store with it cuz she bought it and tol them not too. And she wont give it to me til x-mas either because she says I'm prick for finding out and deserve to suffer a little before pleasure... I feel for you brother, the wait is killing me too.

I'm purchasing a pair of monitor 5's, cc-370 centre, ADP-370's for the surrounds and the PS-1200 sub.

We're buying a new house in the beginning of feb/05 andd I have to wait until then to buy these speakers and my projector. The only thing I was allowed to buy before the move was the denon 2805 and that was to keep me from whining all the time about wanting the new system.

Sigh....I'm so impatient.

Wow, that is great to here. I have a bad habit of tending to believe "Bigger is Always Better" thus I was actually considering opting for the 470. However, all the reveiws I've read on the 370 have been absolutley overflowing with praise. Looks like I asked for the correct speaker for Christmas! I can't wait!

I agree with genetic drift, I listened to the cc370 and cc470 side by side, and thought that the 370 sounded alot better, more natural. I got it and matched it with the monitor 7's. Can't wait till i can afford a better receiver now. I don't know why, the 470 just didn't sound natural at all, almost weird sounding. just my opinion
