Thinking of trying the D amps from Pioneer Elite

I don't seem to see much chatter on the Pioneers here. Is there any reason?

I am back ready for a new amp. My Denon 3808 is still going strong, but ready for Atmos and a new 4K tv.

This time I have decided to look at the new Pioneer Elites. SC-95 or SC-97. I want to try the class D amps.

Is there any reason not to go with Pioneer?
I have 2 locked on hold at sale prices and with movers coupon I can get these for 969 (95) or 1419 (97).

Looking at Sony XBR-65X850C 65" for $1699 NIB for TV. Anything better under $2k?

No reason not to go with Pioneer. I have three Pioneer AV receivers and a Pioneer integrated amplifier. I have been fairly loyal to the brand for 25 years. I find them to be an excellent value and very reliable. I can't tell you why they aren't popular with audio enthusiasts.

My Pio Elite vsx-82 has been going strong for about 8 years now. It is class A/B.

My Pio 100 disc CD file still going strong too.
