Thinking of Keeping My Pioneer 56Txi?

Hi:I'm wondering if a bought a HDMI Switcher(Monoprice of course)could I just hook it up to my PS-3(Slim) and get the PS-3 to decode the HD Audio while still using the 56?If so what settings would I use on both the 56 and the PS-3?Thanks for any help in advance.

although i cant tell you the exact setting, I can tell that it is possible. I've seen this setup 3 times before.
